El Caminito del Rey

El Caminito del Rey ("The King's Little Path") is a hiking trail that runs from Álora in Málaga, Spain, to Campillos through the El Chorro gorge. The trail is three kilometers long, a maximum width of one meter, and is situated 100 meters above the El Chorro River against the cliffs. It can only be walked from the northern side (the entrance) to the southern side (the exit). The nearest parking area for cars and buses is one kilometer away on both the northern and southern sides, making the total walk along this trail at least five kilometers.
