Monschau

Monschau is a town in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, located at an elevation of approximately 420 meters in the Aachen metropolitan area. It lies on the edge of the Eifel region, on the upper reaches of the Rur River. The town has 11,686 inhabitants and covers an area of 94.62 km².
