Schönau am Königssee

Linderhof Palace is a Baroque palace in the Graswang Valley in Ettal near Oberammergau in the German state of Bavaria. It is the smallest of the three castles built by Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one completed before his death. The castle is situated at an altitude of 948 metres. Linderhof was Ludwig II's favourite residence, which he always called "My Villa".

Schönau am Königssee is a municipality in the Berchtesgadener Land district in the German state of Bavaria. Schönau am Königssee has 5,596 inhabitants.
